Verity Tan is a Project Engineer at ACEREZ since August 2025 and has been a Research Assistant at UNSW since September 2021. Additionally, Verity serves as a SPREE Ambassador and was a Taste of Research Scholar at UNSW. Prior experience includes roles as an Operations & Maintenance Analyst at APA Group from November 2023 to July 2025, a Consultant in Sustainability & Climate Change at Aurecon from January 2023 to November 2023, and as a PV Pre-Sales & Data Analyst Engineer at Smart Commercial Solar from January 2022 to September 2022. Verity is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Photovoltaic Engineering at UNSW, expected to complete in December 2028, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Photovoltaics and Solar Energy Engineering, with a minor in Humanitarian Engineering, completed in December 2022.
