Derek Kuhn

Derek Kuhn is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies, currently serving as President & CEO of HaiLa since October 2021. In addition to this position, Derek holds advisory and strategic roles at QN Four, Acerta, and Arcane Four Studios. Previous experience includes advising the CTO at Panasonic Automotive and serving as President and Senior Vice President at Sciemetric, where responsibilities included defining the strategic direction for IIoT applications and guiding product engineering. Derek's prior positions also include Senior Vice President at BlackBerry, overseeing IoT initiatives, and Vice President of Marketing and Sales at QNX Software Systems. Derek is a graduate of Carleton University, holding a Bachelor of Engineering degree earned from 1989 to 1993.
