Ning Jia

Ning Jia has work experience as a Principal Data Scientist at Acerta, starting in December 2021. In this role, they designed and implemented Root Cause Analysis and Anomaly Detection for a SaaS platform. They also built machine learning models to predict vehicle DTC failures optimized for the averaged precision metric. Additionally, Ning Jia worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Acerta from April 2020 to December 2021. In this position, they collaborated with the customer success team on consulting and POC projects, such as designing models to classify road environments for cruising systems and analyzing the truck's maintenance effects on fuel economy. Prior to that, Ning Jia worked as a Data Scientist at Acerta from March 2019 to April 2020. Additionally, Ning Jia has experience as a Senior Software Developer at D2L from May 2005 to January 2009.

Ning Jia obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Guelph, where they attended from 2003 to 2005. In addition, Ning Jia acquired a certification as a Microsoft Certified Azure Data Scientist from Microsoft in September 2022.
