Tristan Charette

Tristan Charette has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Tristan started their career as a Systems Administrator at Mokko Studio in December 2013 and worked there until December 2014.

From January 2015 to January 2016, Tristan worked at Rodeo FX, where they held various roles, including Render Wrangler/Jr.Sysadmin and Systems Administrator. Tristan'sresponsibilities included managing software licenses, debugging render nodes, automating tasks with Python, and utilizing the Google Cloud platform for render bursts.

In December 2016, Tristan became a Linux Systems Administrator at Rodeo FX and later transitioned to the role of Linux Systems Engineer in November 2018. Tristan played a key role in migrating the studio's infrastructure to CentOS 7, creating load-balanced applications using Docker Swarm and HaProxy, and guiding junior team members on complex projects.

Tristan joined Tactio Health Group in April 2020 as a Senior Devops. During their time there, they worked on converting the primary application toa de-coupled micro-service Kubernetes architecture, deploying and configuring various tools such as Elasticsearch and Kibana, and migrating the legacy front-end stack to React. Tristan also implemented infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Ansible and troubleshooted performance issues on the company website.

In October 2021, Tristan joined Paytm Labs as a Site Reliability Engineer, where they worked until April 2022. During this time, they contributed to the stability and performance of Paytm's services.

Currently, Tristan is working at Acerta as a Site Reliability Engineer and will transition to the role of Senior Site Reliability Engineer in May 2023.

Tristan Charette holds a D.E.C degree in Computer Science from Dawson College.
