ACET-VEEDA is the Association of Spouses and Partners of transferable employees of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA).

Founded in 1987, we are a volunteer-led, member-funded association that supports and represents accompanying partners and spouses throughout the diplomatic life cycle.

We provide practical information, workshops, networking opportunities, social events, and peer support to help members navigate international postings, career transitions, family life abroad, and returning to Switzerland.

We also advocate for the interests of accompanying partners and spouses within the FDFA on issues such as employment, pensions, social security, education, insurance, and family well-being.

Our diverse international community includes Swiss and non-Swiss members from a wide range of professional and cultural backgrounds, united by the shared experience of diplomatic life.

As Switzerland's representative within EUFASA (European Foreign Affairs Spouses' Associations), ACET-VEEDA contributes to the exchange of best practices and the promotion of family-friendly policies across Europe.

Support. Connect. Advocate.
