Tommy Powell

Tommy Powell is the Head of People Analytics at AceUp. Tommy has over 20 years of experience in the field of human resources and data analytics. Tommy has a proven track record of improving organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and team-based success.

Most recently, Tommy was the Head of People Surveys & Measures at GSK, where they created effective solutions to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and team-based success by directing development and execution of strategic people measurement processes for a global workforce. In this role, Tommy provided key data and actionable insights to facilitate effective decision making for the C-Suite executive team. Tommy also leveraged effective methods and systems to analyze organization and workforce data and identify opportunities to enhance business performance.

Before joining GSK, Tommy spent 10 years as a human resources consultant, working with a variety of clients in different industries on projects related to organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and team building. Tommy has also authored several articles on topics related to human resources and data analytics.

Tommy Powell has a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational and Vocational Psychology from North Carolina State University, an MS in Industrial Psychology from University of Central Florida, and a BA in Psychology from The Citadel.
