Baljit Sidhu

Baljit Sidhu is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in language instruction and coordination within newcomer services. Currently serving as the Coordinator for the Newcomer Information Centre and Site Coordinator at Achēv since February 2016, Baljit Sidhu administers Canadian Language Benchmarks assessments and oversees daily operations, staff, and volunteers to ensure effective service delivery. Previous roles include marketing and proofreading at 52nd Street Tap & Grill, LINC instruction at Malton Neighbourhood Services and Muslim Community Services, and administrative management at Medicare Rehab. Baljit Sidhu holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Toronto and various certifications in teaching English as a second language.
