Sonja Johnson

Sonja Johnson is an experienced professional in career services and business development, currently serving as the Manager of Career & Loans Services at Achēv since April 2019, where Sonja provides strategic leadership for Foreign Credential Recognition programs aimed at helping internationally trained newcomers in Canada. Previously, at ACCES Employment, Sonja led the award-winning Entrepreneurship Connections program, focusing on business training for newcomer entrepreneurs. Sonja's extensive background includes roles in management and consulting across various organizations, including Job Skills, CIBC, and as a business coach at SMJ Consulting. Sonja holds a Master's degree in International Business and Management from the University of Westminster, a Bachelor's degree in Professional Management from Nova Southeastern University, and a diploma in Marketing from the University of Technology, Jamaica.
