Whitney Loewen

National Advisory Panel Member, National LINC Online Curriculum [volunteer]

Whitney Loewen has extensive experience in e-learning and education, currently serving as the Manager of e-Learning and Special Projects at The Immigrant Education Society since November 2016. Previously, Whitney held roles such as Supervisor for e-LINC and Special Projects and Communications & LINC Home Study Coordinator at the same organization. In addition to this role, Whitney contributes as a National Advisory Panel Member for the National LINC Online Curriculum with Achēv since May 2021. Earlier in the career, Whitney worked as a Research Assistant at GMP FirstEnergy from May 2012 to November 2016. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Adult Learning specializing in E-Learning from the University of Calgary (2020-2022), a Diploma in New Media Production and Design from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (2010-2012), and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Manitoba (2003-2008).
