Mark Debrone has a diverse work experience, starting in 2005 as a referee for the Burlington Minor Lacrosse Association. From 2008 to 2011, they worked in customer convenience at IKEA Burlington. In 2011, they joined IKEA Canada, initially in logistics and later in safety and security. Mark also had a summer internship as a communication responsible during this time. In 2014, Mark played lacrosse as a player for the Nanaimo Sr A Timbermen. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a skills and form coach for DareDevils Lacrosse, providing coaching and training to young players. Mark rejoined IKEA Canada in 2016 as a Country Project Lead, and in 2017, they took on multiple roles as a Communication Specialist and supported the multichannel transformation program. Mark continued their communication support role at IKEA Group until 2019. From 2020 to 2021, Mark worked as a Communications Specialist at TKM Group Ventures, providing marketing support and acting as a mediator between clients and subject matter experts. Finally, they joined Achievers in 2021 as a Customer Care Advisor.
Mark Debrone pursued their education by enrolling at Niagara College from 2011 to 2013, where they focused on Sales and Marketing in the field of Business. Mark then continued their educational journey at Brock University, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from 2013 to 2016.
