Mat Babol has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mat started their career in 2010 as a Coop Student - Assistant Programmer at Babcock & Wilcox Canada, Ltd. In 2012, they moved on to a role as a Manufacturing Technical Specialist at Babcock & Wilcox, where they worked until 2013. From 2014 to 2015, they served as an Aerospace Technical Specialist at Centra Industries Inc. Following this, they worked as a Bell Service Technician at Bell Technical Solutions from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they transitioned to become a Software Developer at 3MA, where they stayed until 2018. In the same year, they joined the Social Justice Tribunal Ontario (SJTO) as an Information Technology Intern for a few months before moving on to Techcom as a Developer/System Analyst, where they worked until 2021. Currently, Mat Babol works as a Software Engineer at Achievers starting from October 2021.

Mat Babol has a diverse education history. From 2014 to 2018, they attended Seneca College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree (B.Tech.) in Software Development. Before that, from 2008 to 2011, they studied at Conestoga College, where they received an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Robotics & Automation.

In addition to their formal education, Mat Babol has also obtained additional certifications. In December 2021, they completed a course titled "Introduction to Web APIs" through LinkedIn. Furthermore, in April 2016, they achieved an estimated fluency in French at an elementary level through Duolingo.
