Mike Wu

Mike Wu has a diverse work experience in the software development field.

Mike started their career at Research In Motion as a Software Designer from May 2006 to August 2007.

Mike then joined NexJ Systems, where they worked from June 2008 to March 2013. Mike held the roles of Developer and Server Framework and later became the Senior Developer and Team Lead in Development Operations. During their time at NexJ Systems, they led the Development Operations team, owning the build and deployment processes, managing QA test environments, and developing automation tools.

In 2013, Mike Wu joined Achievers, where they worked until the present date. Mike started as a Software Developer, enhancing functionality and usage of build and deployment scripts and working with IT and Information Security for provisioning test and development environments. Mike later became a Senior Software Developer, focusing on resolving critical issues and learning various system components. Mike then took on the role of Senior Software Engineer and Production Support Lead, where they led the Production Support Team, managed live online site deployments, and reorganized production support processes for better product ownership. Currently, they hold the position of Staff Software Engineer and Technical Lead, facilitating discussions, assessing and triaging feature requests and bugs, and participating in department-wide development initiatives.

Mike Wu attended the University of Toronto from 2003 to 2008, where they completed their Honours Bachelor of Science (H B.Sc.) in Computer Software Engineering.
