Victor Comas

Victor Comas has a comprehensive work experience in various roles, starting from their position as a Researcher/Teacher Assistant at the Higher Institute of Science and Applied Technology. Victor then worked as a Nuclear Physics Researcher at The GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research and later transitioned into the field of data science. Victor held the role of Financial Risk Modelling Researcher (Data Scientist) at Outside Intelligence Inc., where they focused on predictive analytics modeling using both structured and unstructured data. Victor then joined LoyaltyOne as Lead Data Scientist, where they designed and implemented solutions for machine learning and data science problems such as recommender systems, attrition models, and fraud detection. Victor's next role was as Chief Analytics Officer at JUDI.AI, where they later became the VP of Data Science. During this time, they led data science initiatives and built a data science team that worked across the organization. Currently, Victor is the VP of Data Science at Achievers, where they continue to contribute their expertise in the field.

Victor Comas obtained their Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Physics from InSTEC in the years 1998 to 2003. Victor then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at InSTEC from 2003 to 2005. Afterwards, they went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nuclear Physics at Justus Liebig University Giessen between 2008 and 2012.
