John Chodera

John Chodera is a prominent figure in the fields of biophysics and cancer research, currently serving as Co-Founder, CEO, and President of Achira since October 2024. John Chodera holds multiple roles at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, including Member, Associate Member, and Assistant Member since November 2012, while also contributing as faculty in the Program in Physiology, Biophysics, and Systems Biology at Weill Cornell Medicine since 2013. Formerly a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Schrödinger from 2013 to August 2018, John Chodera gained earlier experience as a QB3-Berkeley Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Berkeley from October 2008 to October 2012 and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University from January 2007 to October 2008. John Chodera earned a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of California, San Francisco, from 1999 to 2006, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Caltech from 1995 to 1999.
