Bas van Bommel

Bas van Bommel has extensive experience in financial management, currently serving as Senior Controller Solvency II at Achmea since September 2007, where responsibilities include preparing Solvency II reports and managing changes in reporting processes. Previous experience includes a role as Account Manager Internal Audit at Achmea, focusing on audits for financial processes and involvement in the implementation of Value Management projects. Prior to Achmea, Bas van Bommel worked at Deloitte as an Aspirant Manager from 1997 to 2007, primarily in the auditing practice for small and medium-sized enterprises. Bas van Bommel holds an RA degree from Nyenrode Business University and an RA in Accounting from Avans University of Applied Sciences.
