Gerard Bonekamp

Gerard Bonekamp is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and public finance. Since 2003, Gerard has served as a Senior Investment Manager at Achmea, where responsibilities include managing a team focused on Achmea's €45 billion in own risk investments, specializing in fixed income investments and hedging insurance liabilities. Prior to this role, Gerard worked at the Ministry of Finance Debt Office from 1993 to 1998 as a Staff Member in the dealing room, contributing to the policy and implementation of Dutch State bond issuance and Treasury activities. Gerard holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Financial Markets from the University of Groningen and a degree in Chemistry from Hogere Laboratorium Opleiding.
