Marit Schut

Marit Schut has an extensive background in legal expertise, particularly in the areas of public liability and claims management. From October 1997 to January 2023, Marit worked at Achmea, holding roles such as specialist in overheidsaansprakelijkheid and manager of both the Juridische Zaken Schaderegeling Bedrijven and non-profit Schaderegeling Bedrijven teams. Prior to this, Marit gained experience as a jurist in Milieu en Water at Provincie Gelderland from 1993 to 1994, and as an advocaat at Nysingh advocaten from 1994 to 1997. Marit graduated with a degree in Nederlands recht from Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, having also studied at Universiteit Leuven from 1990 to 1991.
