ACI Informatica è una società per azioni interamente posseduta dall’Automobile Club d’Italia. Ha una lunga storia che comincia agli albori dell’informatica italiana, nel 1960, con un’altra ragione sociale: Sicreo SpA.
La Sicreo - Società Italiana Calcolo e Ricerca Economica Operativa, collabora con il Centro Elettronico ACI e riceve nel '74 dal governo italiano la gestione delle tasse "una tantum". Nel '77 Sicreo diventa ACI Informatica SpA, partner tecnologico dell'Automobile Club d'Italia, con l'obiettivo di fornire all'ACI gli strumenti informatici per gestire la mobilità.

L'esperienza di ACI Informatica è nei grandi progetti per la Pubblica Amministrazione, dalla gestione di grandi volumi di dati per il Pubblico Registro Automobilistico e le Tasse Automobilistiche all’offerta di servizi online, allo sviluppo di soluzioni tecnologiche avanzate per la Federazione ACI che conta 106 Automobile Club provinciali, 1500 punti di servizio sul territorio e oltre un milione di soci.

ACI Informatica svolge la propria attività tra 4 sedi tra Roma e Torino, 450 dipendenti, 200 collaboratori, a cui grazie alla struttura "rete" si affiancano 1.500 professionisti ICT.
