Peter Bichsel

Peter Bichsel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Peter began their career at Kern Concept AG, where they worked as an IT-Support Manager from September 2007 to August 2009. Peter then moved on to the Seminar für Genderstudies, where they served as a Technical Assistant from March 2010 to August 2012. Following this, Peter joined the Seminar für Medienwissenschaft at Universität Basel as a Technical Research Assistant from September 2012 to November 2014.

In 2015, Peter transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, joining ACINO Pharmaceutical as an IT Governance & Policy Analyst in September 2015. Peter held this role until May 2017, after which they were promoted to IT Quality Manager until December 2018. From January 2019 to January 2020, Peter served as the Global CSV IT Lead & IT Security Officer at ACINO. Finally, they assumed the position of Head of IT Compliance and PMO, commencing in January 2020.

Peter Bichsel completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, specializing in Institut HyperWerk, from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, they attended GBS Gewerbliches Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum St. Gallen, where they obtained their Technische Berufsmaturität. Additionally, they also earned an Eidg. Dipl. Informatiker from GBS Gewerbliches Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum St. Gallen during the same period.
