Ramez Farid

Ramez Farid is an experienced medical professional with a focus on medical affairs and business leadership in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Country Medical Advisor and Medical Science Liaison at Acino since March 2020, Ramez manages the medical department and oversees local medical activities across various therapeutic areas, including Gastroenterology, Pain Management, and Cardiology. Previously, Ramez held the position of GI Business Lead at Takeda from January 2011 to March 2020, where responsibilities included strategic brand management in Gastroenterology, Diabetes, and Respiratory sectors. Ramez began the career as a Medical Representative at Nycomed Austria GmbH, promoting a range of medications, and holds an MBA in Global Marketing from Paris ESLSCA Business School and a pharmacy degree from Misr International University.
