Deep Sengupta

Deep Sengupta is a Senior Scientist Data Quality at Aclima, Inc. since April 2025, with prior experience as a Senior Research Engineer at Picarro, Inc. from September 2022 to December 2024, where contributions included advancements in broadband VOC spectrometer technology. Academic roles include a Postdoctoral Researcher and Visiting Research Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley from June 2020 to May 2024, focusing on wildfire risk and mitigation strategies while developing drone-based sensor technology. Deep Sengupta earned a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Chemistry and Climatology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2020, where also served as President of the Graduate Student Association and a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Prior education includes a Master's degree in Geochemistry from the Indian Institute of Science, completed in 2014.
