Muna .

Muna has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and roles. Muna started their career as a Science Teacher at Baghdad International School, where they later became the Head of Science and introduced curriculum changes. After leaving Iraq, they worked as a Personnel and Health & Safety Manager at Tomorrows Leisure plc. Muna then pursued their Ph.D. at the University of Liverpool, where they also worked as a Research Assistant, conducting laboratory analysis and managing volunteers. Muna took on temporary positions as an Administration Assistant while writing their thesis. Muna then joined Smith & Nephew as a Scientist, contributing to scientific knowledge exchange in stem cells for orthopaedic applications. Muna later became a Senior Scientist, managing project activities and providing scientific due diligence. Currently, Muna is working at ACM Global Laboratories, starting as a Project Manager and progressing to Senior Project Manager and Lead Senior Project Manager before assuming their current role as Associate Director of Project Management. At ACM Global Laboratories, they manage all aspects of central laboratory services for clinical trials, including client queries, troubleshooting, and assisting in business development.

Muna attended the Al-Jami'at Al-Mustansiriyah university and obtained a BSC (Hon) degree in Microbiology. Muna then pursued their Master's degree in Industrial Biotechnology from Liverpool John Moores University. After that, they completed their PhD in Biology at the University of Liverpool in 2004.
