Indigo Holcombe-James is currently the Strategic Research Lead at ACMI, Australia’s national museum of screen culture, where they drive evidence-based decision-making and focus on innovative research methodologies. Previously, they served as a Research Fellow at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision Making + Society, contributing to policy development through their research on digital participation in cultural industries. Indigo holds a PhD in Media and Communication from RMIT University and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on topics related to cultural engagement and social change. They are also a member of the AMAGA Victoria Branch Committee and on the Assembly Project's advisory board, committed to fostering strategic partnerships within the cultural sector.
