Ron Mechaly

Ron Mechaly has over 25 years of work experience in various roles related to operations, engineering, maintenance, and management. Ron is currently the Director of Operations at Angus Consulting Management Limited since 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Operations at Sweets from the Earth from 2020 to 2021, where they focused on establishing meaningful KPIs, strengthening processes, and mentoring the leadership team. From 2017 to 2020, Mechaly worked at Dahl Brothers Canada Ltd., first as the V.P. Operations, responsible for building and directing the company's business operations, and then as the Engineering and Maintenance Manager. Before that, they were employed at Nestlé Purina North America from 2009 to 2017, where they held positions such as Production Manager and Engineering and Maintenance Manager. Mechaly's earlier experience includes roles at Arvin Meritor Automotive Inc and Meritor, where they served as the Engineering and Maintenance Manager and Project Engineer, respectively. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a commitment to safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and driving operational results through the implementation of KPIs and process improvement initiatives.

Ron Mechaly completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo from 1991 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from McGill University, where they studied from 1988 to 1991. Ron also holds a Professional Engineer certification from Professional Engineers Ontario, but the date of obtaining this certification is not specified.
