Victoria Arango

President

Victoria Arango is a distinguished academic and leader in the field of psychiatry, with extensive experience spanning several prestigious institutions. From July 1994 to October 2018, Victoria served as a Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University, engaging in research, teaching, and administrative roles. Following this, Victoria held significant leadership positions at the National Institute of Mental Health as Chief of Central and Peripheral Interactions and Chief of the Central-Peripheral Interactions Pathophysiology Program until August 2024. Victoria is currently the President of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology since February 2025 and previously served as President of the Society of Biological Psychiatry from June 2023 to June 2024.
