Lorcan Murphy

Lorcan Murphy is the Managing Director for the UK and Ireland at ACOLIN since January 2010, where the focus is on supporting asset managers in developing new markets for funds through a variety of distribution services. In addition, Lorcan serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director for multiple Irish fund companies, currently overseeing 16 Irish UCITS funds, including three ETF companies and one AIF. Previous roles include Head of European Institutional Wealth at Barclays Global Investors, N.A., where responsibilities included building the Wealth Intermediary business and managing operational aspects of 77 funds with $100 billion in assets. Earlier experience includes leading ETF and Intermediary Investors Group at Barclays and serving as an Audit Manager at KPMG. Lorcan holds an ACA in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland and a degree in Economics from Trinity College Dublin.
