Florent Picot, Ph.D, currently serves as R&D Manager at ACOME, leading a multidisciplinary team of five experts across automotive, telecommunications, and building and rail network sectors since January 2022. With prior experience as Innovation Project Manager at ACOME and responsibilities in managing innovation pipeline and internal transformation, Florent is also an associate at Team for the Planet, an initiative aimed at combating climate change through innovation. Previous roles include leading an electromechanical design office and R&D projects at PROBENT Projet and Sominex, respectively, along with a background in friction stir welding and materials engineering.
