Brigitte Hermel

Brigitte Hermel has over 30 years of experience in design engineering and project management, with a focus on braking systems, suspension, and damping systems. Currently serving as a Design Engineer and Change and Validation Manager at ACONEXT since January 2017, Brigitte has led the development and validation of various vehicle components including axle components and braking systems. Previous roles include Senior Design Engineer at Bertrandt and IVM Technical Consultants, where Brigitte managed design engineering and release management for multiple vehicle systems. Brigitte began career in design engineering at Intreprinderea Mecanica Codlea, with early experience as an intern at ZF Friedrichshafen AG. Brigitte holds a diploma in design, technology, production planning, and maintenance from Transilvania University of Brasov.
