Jon Waters serves as the President and General Manager for North America at acontis technologies since January 2019. Prior to this role, Jon held positions at HMS Industrial Networks as a Sales Engineer and Team Lead from May 2013 to December 2018, focusing on consultative sales for embedded communication hardware and software solutions in Eastern North America. Earlier experience includes being a Sales Engineer at IXXAT Automation GmbH from May 2008 to April 2013, where Jon specialized in CAN-based communications equipment and also worked as an Application Engineer developing embedded software for industrial communications. Jon Waters holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, both from the University of New Hampshire.
