Mark Bennett has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mark began their career as an IT Project Delivery Consultant at Thomson Reuters from 2008 to 2009. Mark then joined EDF Energy, where they worked as an IT Business Consultant Graduate from 2010 to 2011. Mark transitioned to Transactor Global Solutions Ltd in 2011 and held roles as a Project Manager until 2012 and as a Business Development Executive from 2013 to 2015. In 2016, Mark joined AdvantageGo as a Business Development Manager in the insurance field and later became a Sales Director from 2017 to 2018. Since 2018, they have been a part of ACORD, initially serving as the Vice President of Business Development - Global, and currently as the Vice President of Business Development.

Mark Bennett completed their education at the University of Exeter from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a 1.1 BA Business & Management with Honours degree. Prior to that, they attended Peter Symonds College from 2004 to 2006, where they completed their A Level in Advanced Business Management & Geography. In addition to their formal education, Mark Bennett also obtained various certifications including ISMM Advanced Selling Skills from The Institute of Sales & Marketing Management (obtained in February 2016), Advanced Communications & Presentation Qualification from Hemsley Fraser (obtained in September 2014), ISEB Business Analysis Qualification (obtained in June 2011), Project Requirements Engineering Qualification from ISEB (obtained in May 2011), and Business Analyst Essentials Qualification from ISEB (obtained in April 2011).
