Jeeves Murphy

Jeeves Murphy is an accomplished Information Security Engineer with extensive experience in developing security strategies and processes, currently serving as the first Security Engineer at Acorns since January 2018. Prior to this role, Jeeves was a Senior Cyber Security/Sr. Systems Engineer at the American Institutes for Research and held a position as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland University College, teaching various IT courses. Additional experience includes working as an Information Security Engineer at INTERPOL, focusing on the secure exchange of sensitive information, and as an ITS Engineer at Tenable Network Security, where duties included network monitoring system management. Jeeves' career began with roles in IT support, including an internship at Plethora Technology. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Information Technology: Information Assurance from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor’s in English Literature from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
