Kyra LeRoux

Kyra LeRoux is a skilled Software Engineer currently at Acorns since April 2021, with prior experience as an Android Developer at The Walt Disney Company where feature development for a mobile application was completed using Kotlin and Java, alongside participation in Agile practices. Kyra also served as Programming/Event Manager at the Georgia Tech Student Center from January 2017 to December 2019, overseeing event budgets and communications. Additionally, a significant project includes the development of the "ShelterMe" Android application, aimed at assisting the homeless in finding shelters, which involved implementing various technical features. Kyra holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has also studied abroad at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
