Michael Rehse is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience leading and developing teams in various technology-driven environments. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Acorns since June 2022, Michael previously held a similar role at Better from July 2020 to April 2022, where a team expanded from 2 to 8 members, and Michael spearheaded the design of a customer-facing live chat service that significantly improved operational efficiency. Prior roles include technical leadership and engineering positions at notable companies such as Huge, Elephant, and McDonald's Corporation, where Michael executed complex projects, including crafting platforms for government grants and lending services, as well as designing innovative solutions for customer interactions. Michael holds a BA in Computer Science from Pace University and has a foundational background from Harvey Mudd College.
