Mitch Dempsey

Mitch Dempsey is an accomplished Lead Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently at Acorns since February 2017, Mitch previously served as a Lead Software Engineer at Stitch Fix, where crucial contributions included founding the StitchFix Platform team and facilitating the migration of over 100 services to a custom-built ECS-backed infrastructure on Amazon AWS. Prior positions include roles at Sleepy Giant, Mirth Corporation, Member, Inc., and CSD Hosting, where Mitch gained expertise ranging from senior engineering to executive technology leadership. Educationally, Mitch holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Informatics, both from UC Irvine.
