Pete Johnson

Pete serves as the Chief Data Officer for Acorns. Throughout his career, Pete has made it a mission to drive the business with fast actionable analytics and insights. Prior to Acorns, Pete was Vice President of Advanced Analytics & Marketing Technology for the AT&T Consumer Group. He sits on the Georgia Tech Business Analytics Council, the Facebook Global Measurement Council, patented an algorithm on graphically rendering data and once served with the Army’s 101st Airborne Division. Pete obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Troy University and his MBA in Technology Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also obtained a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from MIT. Pete has 4 college-aged kids he’s counting the days till they’re off his payroll.
