Chris is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in customer experience software and services. Prior to joining Acquia, Chris was CEO at Khoros, a leading provider of digital-first customer engagement software serving some of the most recognizable brands in the world. Under his leadership, Khoros developed solutions that enabled these brands to accelerate digital transformation. Using AI and automation to provide advanced features across its platforms, including launching a SaaS offering, they were able to bring exceptional customer value and improve engagement.
Before Khoros, Chris was CEO and co-founder of Topbox, an omnichannel customer experience analytics software company. Over six years, he guided Topbox through significant growth and its eventual acquisition by Khoros in 2021.
Chris began his corporate career in business process outsourcing, working with companies across the Fortune 500 in industries including technology, telecommunications, retail, healthcare and more. He led his divisions to explosive growth through a combination of strong organic sales and strategic M&A activity.
His deep expertise and visionary leadership have consistently driven innovation and success and his businesses have been recognized as leaders by top industry analysts.
A graduate of the US Naval Academy, Chris served as a surface warfare officer for five years which he credits with bringing discipline and leadership skills to his teams. Chris lives in Portland, Oregon.
