John Medway

John Medway has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. John started their career in 1991 as a Unix Systems Administrator and Configuration Manager at Landmark Graphics. John then worked as a System Administrator and Technical Lead at IBM Tivoli Software from 1998 to 2000. After that, they served as Manager of IT and Site Operations at Ci2i (formerly U.S. Creative) from 2000 to 2001. John also worked as a Co-Founder and Senior Systems and Support Manager at Silo Software from 2003 to 2004. John has experience as an Independent Contractor for various companies, including Denali Software, Luminary Micro, and Pinion Software, where they provided network administration and software development consultancy services. From 2005 to 2007, they served as the IT Director at Enuclia Semiconductor before transitioning to being an Independent Contractor for Rim Semiconductor, Lightfleet Corporation, and others, where they offered network, systems, and web administration consultancy services. John then worked as the Director of Information Technology at Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they held the role of Information Systems Manager/Senior IS Engineer at Jive Software. Currently, John is the Director of Operations at Acquia, a position they have held since 2014.

John Medway earned a BA in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 1995. John also holds a BA in History and Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which they completed in 1986.
