Harsh Patel

Harsh Patel has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and manufacturing fields. In 2020, they began working as a Lead Manufacturing Engineer at Acrison Inc. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Mechanical Design Engineer at Tolan Machinery Co. Inc., where they designed 2D-3D CAD/CAM models and developed BOMs in compliance with BPVC-ASME Sec. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Mechanical Engineering Intern at the University of Bridgeport, where they worked on shop floor to resolve design conflicts, created Solidworks drawings and simulations, and prototyped designs. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Manufacturing Engineer at Banco India Limited, where they inspected the size and raw materials for manufacturing, calibrated equipment, defined Takt time, implemented ISO 9001, and improved manufacturing processes for cost-reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency.

Harsh Patel obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport between 2014 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a BE in Mechanical Engineering from GTU between 2009 and 2013. Harsh also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification, obtained in September 2019, as well as a PMP® Certification Training Course from Simplilearn, obtained in August 2019. Harsh is also certified in AUTOCAD from Autodesk.
