Nikolas Kamachi has a long history of working in the biotechnology industry. In 2005, they began their career as a Research Associate at Amgen. In 2006, they moved to Santa Cruz Biotechnology, where they were responsible for purifying polyclonal antibodies from both rabbit and goat sera using affinity chromatography, conjugating peptide antigens to carrier proteins, and coupling peptide antigens to sepharose gel matrices for use with the affinity columns. Nikolas also designed peptides from various targets in the human genome. In 2017, they returned to BioLegend as a Research Associate II and was promoted to Senior Research Associate in 2018. In 2021, they joined ACROBiosystems as Regional Manager, California and was later promoted to Associate Regional Manager, Southern California. In 2022, they joined bioSeedin, a subsidiary of ACROBiosystems Inc. and ACROBiosystems Co. Ltd., as a Business Development Advisor.
Nikolas Kamachi attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a BS in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology.
