Yue Ren has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2009, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in a Molecular Spectroscopy Group at the National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at Microscale. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Gene Therapy and Nanotechnology Research Assistant, as well as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Chemistry at Wayne State University.
In 2012, Yue Ren joined Purdue University as an Engineering College Graduate Teaching Assistant and later became a Graduate Research Assistant for Biomedical Device Development. They remained with Purdue University until 2016.
In 2015, Yue Ren co-founded PURSPEC Technologies Inc., an Indiana-based biotechnology company focused on research development, manufacturing, and sales of miniature mass spectrometry systems. They served as the Vice President/Co-founder from 2017 to 2020 and also held the positions of Co-founder/Senior Application Engineer/General Manager from 2015 to 2017.
In 2021, Yue Ren joined ACROBiosystems, where they worked as a Business Unit Director. Later in the same year, they moved to ACRODiagnostic as the General Manager.
