Igor Kornachev

Igor Kornachev is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and quality assurance, currently serving as Director of Software Engineering at Acronis since August 2016. In this role, Igor has successfully led advanced management features across research and development, introduced critical capabilities such as vulnerability assessment and remote assistance, and managed diverse teams involving up to 200 people for significant feature deliveries. Previously, Igor held positions as Director of Engineering, where contributions included implementing Agile practices and releasing innovative product prototypes, and as Automation QA Head, where a high-performing team was established. Prior experience includes leadership roles in QA at Virtuozzo, Odin, and Parallels, with a consistent focus on enhancing product quality and automation processes. Igor holds a Master of Engineering degree in Information Technology from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI.
