Norbert Biro

Norbert Biro is a Senior Security Researcher at Acronis, where they lead a cross-functional threat research team focusing on advanced malware analysis and detection strategies. With prior experience as the CTO at MRG Effitas from 2019 to 2024, they developed technology strategies to combat cyber threats and directed technical projects. Norbert also held positions at VirusBuster as a Malware Analyst and Sophos as a Threat Researcher, contributing significantly to the field of IT security. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at the University of Pécs.
