Peter Makarov

Peter Makarov is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology partnerships and business development. Currently serving as the Director of Technology Partner Program and Ecosystem at Acronis since September 2016, Peter's career includes progressive roles such as Senior Manager, Integrations & Alliances, and Team Lead, Platform Integrations & Alliances, alongside early positions in partner account and account management. Prior experience includes key positions at Cisco as a Partner Experience Advisor and Business Analyst, as well as a managerial role at ThyssenKrupp Elevator focusing on special projects. Peter's initial foray into the industry included a marketing trainee role at Active Internet Consulting and an internship in inside sales at Parametric Technology, where responsibilities included lead prospecting for the UK, Ireland, and South Africa markets. Peter holds a BA in Business Administration from Universitat Ramon Llull, obtained between 2009 and 2010.
