Currently serving as Corporate Communications Manager at the Alberta Construction Safety Association and Team Lead for Global Communications at Finning, Normel also operates as a Principal and Senior Communications & Marketing Consultant since 2013. Previous roles include Senior Communications Consultant for Champion Petfoods, Senior Advisor E-Communications at ATCO Electric, and Communications Advisor for The City of Calgary, where a strong focus was placed on informing and engaging the public. Normel's foundational work included various communications positions at Mount Royal University and the University of Calgary, where vital contributions were made to marketing plans and stakeholder engagement.
