Jonas Lavin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2008, they started their career as a Personal Banker at SEB, where they worked until 2011. Jonas then joined Vistaprint GMBH as a Costumer CARE Specialist from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Studio Manager at Auctionata AG until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, Jonas was the Content Acquisition Manager at StoYo Media before being promoted to Head of Content Acquisition & Research until 2017. Jonas worked as a Marketing & Business Development Consultant as a Freelancer from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they are working at act.3 GmbH, where they started as an Account Manager in 2018 and is currently serving as the Head of Digital & Business Intelligence.

Jonas Lavin began their education in 2003 at Kunskapscentrum Markaryd, where they pursued a Gymnasieexamen in Technical-Industrial Design. After completing their secondary education in 2006, they went on to attend University West from 2006 to 2008. At University West, Jonas studied Film Production and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree.

Building on their interest in film, Jonas then enrolled in the University of Gothenburg in 2011, where they focused on Film Studies. Jonas successfully completed their studies at the University of Gothenburg in 2013 and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.

Throughout their education history, Jonas consistently pursued their passion for film and progressively developed their knowledge and skills in various aspects of the field, from film production to film studies.
