Daniël de Vries

Daniël de Vries is currently the Global Manager - Tech-based Climate Projects at ACT Group, where they lead a team focused on developing innovative climate projects, particularly in tech-based solutions for sustainable practices. They played a key role in creating the world's first cookstove project authorized under Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement, marking a significant achievement in international climate efforts. Daniël earned a Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Strategy from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in International Business & Management from the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Prior to their current role, they gained experience in various positions, including market analysis and business strategy within environmental markets.
