Amy Smitter

Amy Smitter is an accomplished nonprofit leader with extensive experience in philanthropic engagement, development, and strategic planning. Currently serving as Program Director of Philanthropic Engagement at ACT, Amy has successfully grown the philanthropy portfolio by over 300% in two years. Previously, as Development Director at Camp Quality USA, individual donor contributions increased by 130%, while at Safe and Just Michigan, Amy managed a $1.7 million grant portfolio and developed innovative giving strategies. Notable roles also include Chief Operating Officer at Habitat for Humanity of Michigan, where Amy established key financial systems, and Executive Director at Michigan Campus Compact, where funding increased by over 600% and services expanded to over 40 campuses.
