Suzanne Engbrecht

Suzanne Engbrecht has extensive experience in mathematics education and assessment development. Since August 2012, Suzanne has served as a Workshop Facilitator and Content Specialist (Test Development Associate) at ACT, focusing on the design and development of mathematics materials and assessments. Prior to this role, from 2004 to 2010, Suzanne taught math at North Tama County Community School District, where notable contributions included redesigning the math curriculum and introducing college-level statistics and a two-year Algebra I course, resulting in a 30% increase in student participation in advanced math classes. Additionally, from 1992 to 1998, Suzanne worked as a math teacher at Paradise Valley Unified School District. Suzanne holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Math Education from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, earned in 1989.
