Bret Shepherd

Bret Shepherd has a diverse and extensive work experience. Bret started their career in 2003 as a Computer Database Specialist at Arizona State University. Bret then worked at Sage from 2008 to 2013, where they held various roles as a Software Engineer. In this position, they were responsible for software configuration management, automation, and performance measurement for a CRM application. After leaving Sage, Bret joined Swiftpage in 2013 as a Software Engineer, specializing in automating feature testing for a cloud-based web application. Bret later transitioned into roles as a Cloud Systems Engineer and then as a DevOps Lead Engineer at Swiftpage, where they managed change release processes, automated interactions on customer websites, and developed and managed production environments.

Bret Shepherd completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Systems Engineering from Arizona State University.
