James Suffield

James Suffield is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as a Vessel Superintendent at Acta Marine, where they manage daily operations of CSOVs and oversee contract obligations and QHSSE. They previously held roles as a Vessel Manager at NMS - Nautical Management Services, focusing on HSE and ISM management for super yachts, and worked as a Marine Quality Assurance Specialist at Maritime Global Services. From 2016 to 2021, James was a Master/OIM at Prosafe, operating various DP-class semi-submersible units and managing operational readiness for new builds. James began their career with Solstad Offshore, progressing through roles from Deck Cadet to Chief Officer/SDPO. They completed their Master Mariner qualification at South Tyneside in 2012.
